Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actress who is active in both film, television and the theatre. At the age of 27, she has been professionally performing as an outstanding actress. She first appeared on the stage as a part of an off Broadway production of The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley, in 1990. As a character in The Perfect Tribute, she was the first actress to appear on TV a year later. The biggest break in her professional career happened in 1992 when she starred as a minor role in the film Basic Instinct. She recently played Dr. Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.

Lexis got her education at home during her years of high school. By September 2012, Lexis was admitted at Louisiana State University in order to earn a bachelor's degree. The assumption is that she graduated from the university with a degree, but what grade she earned by her school is not known. The daughter of golfers, Lexis couldn't have been a player who was not used to playing male-dominated sport. When she was a kid, she began playing golf. In 2007, at age 12, became the first woman in history to become eligible to compete in the US Women's Open. The tournament was not won but she did finish the second player in 2007 after taking home the Aldila Junior Classic. The title was her first to win a title in the American Junior Golf Association.
