Anne Celeste Heche is an American actress who is known for her wide variety of roles in films TV, theatre, and film. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as the actress June Lockhart. Her career began in a young age. Her first role was in the age of four when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. This film of a short length about topic was selected for an Oscar award. The mother and daughter spent many hours together while filming, gaining knowledge about the field. Lockhart was even in several Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. The Sixth Sense was a program on television that was aired in 1972. She was 18 years old, she portrayed Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan was the final actress to appear in the series The Sixth Sense. Anne did not want the part of Laurie Strode that she was offered in John Carpenter's Halloween 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later played the part. Carpenter says that the actress rejected his proposal to portray Laurie Strode. Anne does not recall ever getting offered the role by John Carpenter or being offered the role. It could be that her agent rejected the role away without informing Anne. She was initially chosen by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for a role in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The character wasn't strong enough to warrant her acceptance of the role. Glen later wrote a part to her, which featured a strong character called Sheba. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she had already read, was immediately accepted. The show lasted only one episode. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
