Scarlett Johansson is an American singer and actress who was born in NYC in the United States on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1984. Her performance has won her acclaim across a wide spectrum of genres such as period dramas or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and producer was brought up in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. At the age of seven years old, her love of acting was growing. She began to audition for commercials. In a brief time span her studies began in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then, in the following years, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance with North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson subsequently starred in Just Cause (1995), but her first break was through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters fleeing. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered a horrific accident. The role she played in Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. Smith became well-known for her character Nell Jones, the CBS popular series NCIS Los Angeles. The award-winning actress was among the most important cast members on the series. She is an experienced stage actor, as well as performing on the show. She has given many of the most stunning performances, including in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a child when she began her career in entertainment. She discovered her passion for acting as a young child. Smith landed a first acting gig when she was just six, with her parents' encouragement. She was in an Dannon yogurt TV commercial. In the same way as many young actresses she began her career in theatre. She was involved in various productions in the USA as she made her stage debut. She graduated from the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
